Update: Carter has been adopted!

Prior to coming into the Home’s care at almost 18 months of age, Boxer mix Carter has already been passed around by three unsuitable owners. Showing signs of neglect, Carter’s new owner will need to ensure he is fed a high calorie diet so he can continue to gain weight.

“He’s a delight – very cuddly and loves the company of other medium-sized dogs. His new owner will need to spend time exercising and training him. Carter’s been through a lot in his short life; he now needs the stability of a forever home,” says General Manager Sue Conroy.
