The Lost Dogs' Home is proud to be a part of Iams Home 4 the Holidays international pet adoption program.

Now in its 11th year, Iams Home 4 the Holidays is the largest pet adoption drive in the world and aims to encourage people to adopt a pet from a shelter or rescue group to help homeless pets in Australia and around the world.

The Lost Dogs' Home joins over 4,000 worldwide animal organisations that are dedicated to rehoming abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats into new happy, loving homes.

Iams Home 4 the Holidays endeavours to rehome 1.5 million animals, from around the world, from October 1 2009 to January 4, 2010. Every dog or cat adopted from The Lost Dogs' Home during this period will go to their new home with an Iams Adoption Starter Kit that contains a Pet Care Guide, training DVD and discounts off Iams premium nutrition.

Since its inception in 1999, Iams Home 4 the Holidays has helped rehome over 3 million dogs and cats. 2009 is the first year Australian shelters have been able to participate.
