Jet set for a happy Christmas

Last month, Jet rocketed his way into the hearts of Jacqui and Kevin Farquer of Tootgarook. With his gregarious nature and slobbering, toothy grin, the little black staffy soon became the focus of the Farquer’s affections.

“We love him so much,” said Jacqui.

Sunny: rescued from danger

This Christmas, The Lost Dogs' Home will care for over 6,000 dogs and cats in need of care, shelter and veterinary treatment. Due to the current economic crisis we anticipate we will find getting through this Christmas even more challenging than in previous years.

Queen Bea brings joy to the Bladen family

Beatrice, or Queen Bea, as she has become affectionately known, is becoming quickly accustomed to treatment befitting of a royal. The black Labrador cross was recently adopted by the Bladen family and now comfortably commands the position of ‘Queen Bladen’, a far cry from her stray dog roots!

Norman is Pet of the Month

Erin Waters adopted Japanese Chin Norman from The Lost Dogs' Home back in 1998 when he was just three months old. Erin walked through the adoption area at the Home and noticed Norman in the corner of his pen looking depressed and lonely. He was recovering from his desexing operation and appeared to be very, very sad and in need of some love and attention.
